First day- a palace, gourmet food and a bull fight!

Our first day was action packed. We want on a tour of the beautiful city of Madrid and ate lunch at the huge mercado. Then we toured the royal palace which is opulent and magnificent- dining table seats 145 people and is still used today
Dinner overlooking the palace outside in perfect temperature then on to a real Spanish bull fight. I can mark that off my bucket list and am glad I went. It is something to see even though it is gory for sure. We experience many aspects of the culture wherever we go. Tomorrow the art museum then off to Toledo
