Food, Fun and Splendor
Montreal and Quebec
Montreal is the largest city in the province of Quebec, the second-largest in Canada and the 8th-largest in North America. The city covers most of the Island of Montreal at the confluence of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers. The port of Montreal lies at one end of the Saint Lawrence Seaway, the river gateway that stretches from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic.
Montréal is as romantically traditional as it is cutting-edge innovative, as cosmopolitan dynamic as it is small-town friendly. Yet despite this diversity, an underlying similarity exists in this vibrant population who collectively and confidently “live and let live”.
French is the city’s official language and is the language spoken at home; as Québécois French, by over 60% of the population of the city, followed by English and other languages.
Québec is truly a city unlike any in North America. Unique for its European culture, its geography and its history, which together have forged its bold and exuberant identity.
The city exudes absolute authenticity and intensity; summer, fall, winter and spring: the contrasting seasons, each with new events and celebrations, bring this exceptional city to life. Offering you four spectacular opportunities to discover the many faces of Québec City! Our vacation packages feature Québec City tours, accommodation, private transfers and unique experiences.
With easy accessibility by rail, air and sea; Québec City offers you distinctive cuisine, European architecture, fascinating museums, unique shops, microbreweries, outdoor shows, art galleries, stunning landscapes and more.
