Cape Town is an exciting city with rich history and a hub for so many things to do. You will get to see penguins at Boulder Beach, a close drive from Cape Town. Cape Town also offers winelands, UNESCO world heritage sites and landscapes, Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned), the famous Kirstenbosch Gardens and a gorgeous waterfront area with shops and restaurants and more- so many choices of things to do! You won’t want to miss Cape Town.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be met by the representative who will assist you with boarding the flight to Botswana.
May 5-12 Botswana
May 5- May 7 Camp Moremi- This camp feels like a jungle or forest with lots of wildlife. Completely rebuilt in 2018 as a modern luxury safari lodge, Camp Moremi is located within the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve.

May 7-8: Camp Okavango – This camp in the Okavango Delta is situated within the heart of the newly declared World Heritage site, is the world’s largest inland delta, and is a maze of deep lagoons, large lakes and hidden, meandering channels.

May 8-10 Savute Safari Lodge -Savute Lodge is located in a fascinating area famous for its mystifying Savute Channel that dries up and flows on a whim. If you want to see the big cats, this is the place.

May 10-12 Chobe Game Lodge – This is the only permanent lodge on the Chobe River in the famous Chobe National Park. You can experience water and land game drives and watch elephants and others play in the water.

12 May 2023- Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
After the final game drive and breakfast, you will be met by the local driver for the transfer to the lodge.
Enjoy time at leisure until you are met by the guide for a Sundowner Cruise – Signature Deck on the Zambezi River.

We will advise if flight costs increase or decrease upon final payment or when booking internal flights.

13 May 2023 – Arrival in Cape Town
On arrival, you will be met by the local English-speaking guide for the transfer to the hotel. No lunch or dinner is included on this day.

14 May 2023 – Cape Peninsula with Kayaking and lunch
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be met by your guide for a full-day Cape Peninsula Tour. Begin by kayaking in Simonstown. This route starts in the protected Simon’s Town harbor from Long Beach. This includes a tour of the naval base and then paddling to Seaforth to stretch your legs and get an up-close and personal look at the Penguins. From here, weather permitting, paddle to Windmill beach for a swim and then head back to long beach. After the kayaking, enjoy lunch at Seaforth Restaurant (or similar) before visiting Cape Point. From here, travel along Chapman’s Peak to Hout Bay for cruise past the seals on Seal Island before returning to the hotel. No dinner is included on this evening.

15 May 2023 – Cape Region with lunch and Wine Tasting
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be met by your guide for a full-day tour exploring the Cape wine region. Your journey will take you through breathtaking scenery and the historic towns of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, and Paarl. During the course of the day, you will enjoy a wine tasting at one of the area’s premium wine estates, as well as a full cellar tour to gain better knowledge of the winemaking process. Enjoy lunch at Neethlingshof Wine Estate (or similar) but dinner is not included on this evening.

16 May 2023 – Signal Hill and Depart South Africa
Morning at leisure at the hotel. In the afternoon, depart for a Cape Town City Tour we end with a visit to the summit of Signal Hill. Signal Hill, which connects Kloof Nek to Lion’s Head, in the distinctive shape of a lion’s rump, is one of the most famous spots in Cape Town for sundowners. Views from the 1,150 feet high summit are nothing short of spectacular. We then continue to the airport for your homewards flight.
Cost is $1905 pp

As of now, Botswana reuqire a vaccine to enter but that could change anytime. if I am unalbe to go for any reason, the group will be fully hosted adn guided by a trusted colleague and well taken care of.
