Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus and a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects and some even have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. Most require that the item is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. If a weapon piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, the item upgrader Mod (Https://www.google.ci) can be replaced with another, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item itself.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench’s interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon’s level.
When the weapon reaches its maximum upgrade, it can then be modified to give different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects vary depending on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the type of damage a weapon can cause.

Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, as this will increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be very effective in boosting a weapon’s damage and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most of the time, a piece of armor will be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This is the case for most types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the strength or defense of an item level upgrade by a small amount. Some upgrades, however, can lead to significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades grant specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be extremely useful in combat. For instance they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial like reducing damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77 and it goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Despite popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very useful for certain types of builds. There are other methods to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, like using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the total weight.
Potion

The potions also get the ability to select a custom color that can be selected by the player using the /give. The color will affect the effect clouds’ area-of-effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
